Pan Pacific Car Show (1953)

Another set of candid shots, again drawn from the remarkable Gary Minor collection, reveals the exact detail of custom car design and construction from a half-century ago. Wonder how many of these great designs are still around? If they were destroyed, how is that they came to such an ignominious end after so much effort, care and money was expended in their construction. Regardless of where these cars are now, jump back in time with the Custom Clinic. You should pay particular attention to the show-presentation schemes that were used then. No one had the inclination – or perhaps the money – for elaborate chrome, carpet and lights then!
