Darryl Starbird
Widely recognized as the pioneer of bubble tops on privately built customs, has stood astride the custom car hobby for nearly fifty years! His work is legion, and his decades-old car show circuit exhibits and promotes custom cars and hot rod from established as well as new builders. Recently, he has opened the Rod & Custom Hall of Fame ( http://www.darrylstarbird.com/museum.htm ) where most of his custom cars, as well as many from other builders, are displayed along with a Hall of Fame presentation where the work of famed customizers is presented. Darryl's annual late-June get together at his home is covered widely in the media.
