Ultra Detailing Kit for the Dream Truck to be offered by Custom Styling Studio:
When finished, the basic model of the white painted/finned version of the Dream Truck will consist of a one-piece body, a separate hood and bed insert, seats, dashboard, and the
overhead console. It's our hope to have the kit ready by 2008, and all resin parts will be available only through The Modelhaus which has been very supportive of this effort. The detailing kit will be available only through Custom Styling Studio. A builder will need the AMT '50 Chevy Pickup kit to furnish the frame and a few other parts, though a lot of work would be necessary to modify the frame to match the
Dream Truck. The third edition of the Dream Truck book, by Mark S. Gustavson, is presently in preparation and will be exclusively available through Championship Publishing; the
third edition will display a couple of dozen just-discovered photographs, revised footnotes, expanded appendices along with a new forward by Carl Green who did the body-restoration in the late Seventies.
