Each first edition copy of the book is hardbound, numbered and signed by the author. Each book also features a color section featuring each of the Best of Show winners accompanied by a lively analysis of the significance of that model. Additionally, there are lots of black and white photos illustrating each chapter. The book exhaustively examines, in candid detail, the first sixteen years of the GSL Championship, and includes many never-told-before stories. The book also contains an extensive appendix and footnote section including a history of the major contests that preceded GSL.
