This is a beautifully done, "contemporary-classic". Mostly stock except for frenched 56 Packard taillights, Dodge Lancer wheel covers, Appleton Spots, and smoothed bumpers (notice removal of bumper bolts and lack of guards). Classic use of Corvette tooth grille. The side trim is modified stock trim.
This is a photo from a 1957 publication. Again, the Corvette grille. Olds Fiesta wheel covers. The application of the nicely flowing Dodge Lancer chrome side trim. Notice how it matches the drop in the side window. This Chevy also has `56 Lincoln taillights.
Another `55 with Corvette grille, Dodge Lancer side trim. Popular `50īs two-tone paint.
Another contemporary-classic. Lincoln taillights and Dodge Lancer side trim. Notice also the top chop!
It was also a popular (wild) modification to add "canted quad" headlights. Bumpers are split `55 Pontiac units. Side trim on this car is from a `58 Ford Fairlane. Tailights are from a `55 Chrysler.
